Letizia is originally from Toronto, Ontario where her diversity as a musician and vocalist is well known. She toured her native Canada as the lead vocalist in a top 40 band as well as performing as a piano/soloist in all the major venues in Toronto. She has entertained the likes of Marvin Hamlisch, Lou Rawls, Boys to Men and many others. She has performed live musical theater, modeled, and performed studio vocals on national radio and television ads. Letizia shared the stage with Shania Twain at the Deerhurst Resort in Ontairo, and spent time in Europe performing in Sweden, Italy, Germany, and England. Letizia has performed the National Anthem in her native Canada and her newly adopted home, the United States, at pro basketball, baseball, and hockey games from Seattle to New York, and just about everywhere in between. Letizia is not only a singer/musician but a song writer, and she decided to put her original works to CD a couple of years ago with her first solo CD, “Let It Go”. It has since won a number of awards, including a SAMMY for Best Pop Recording. Eight years ago Letizia put together what she calls “The Hottest Band on the Planet” and if you have seen and heard this group of talented musicians, you probably would agree with her. The philosophy behind the formation of the band, was to visually, and musically entertain audiences. Since their inception, the high energy dance show that this band puts on, is unmatched. They have performed on the “Imus in the Morning Show” for 15 million listeners, and half a million viewers on MSNBC. They stole the show at the Y94 Disco Reunion at the New York State Fairgrounds for 2 straight years, in front of 7000 crazy fans. They continue to draw enthusiastic followings wherever they perform. As you can see, this band is not just a club band, or just a wedding band, or just a show band. Letizia and the Z Band is a diverse, professional group of musicians with years of experience. Because of that fact, they are able to entertain any audience, whether it be raucous fans at a club or concert, or a formal black tie wedding or private function.
